Feynman Mode¶
Status: Governance — a standing check, not an essay.
Function: A sanity check against solemnity, overclaiming, and concept inflation. Run it before committing a new concept, essay, or grand arc. The daemon at the gateway of the personal web.
This page is deliberately short. If it ever grows solemn, it has failed at its own job.
The posture¶
Take the world seriously; don't take yourself too seriously. Play with systems. Take things apart. Trust no grand explanation — especially your own. If you can't try it, it isn't ripe. If it sounds reverent, the joke is missing.
(No quotes. The posture is the point, not the person.)
The seven questions — with receipts¶
Each question has already earned its place in this repository's own history. That column is the evidence this page isn't aspiration.

Usage¶
- New concept: answer 1, 2, 5 — and add the registry row in the same change.
- New essay: answer 4, 6, 7 before the first commit.
- Anything that feels profound: answer 3 first. Go find the counterexample. Profundity that survives play may stay.
Relation to the rest¶
This is the operational arm of Construction vs. Deduction: understanding does not mean pronouncing a concept with reverence — it means being able to handle the thing until it comes alive again. If it cannot be played with, it is not understood yet.
