Chronicle¶
Status: Dated reading notes — a selective chronicle of the notebook, not a complete change log.
What has arrived, what has reopened, and what might be worth returning to.
25 September 2026 — A window opens¶
The notebook has grown into a world of its own. Its public entrance had become increasingly focused on the formal research, while the logs and stories had gone quiet. This entry reopens those connections with three new texts.
What a World Can Remember follows a song into the question of what makes another encounter possible. In The Weather Between Us, a maintenance worker hears a voice distributed across the life of a city. The working log A Place for Unfinished Things asks what kind of notebook would let these questions keep changing.
The new introduction, Begin with a Sound, is a continuous first walk. Paths offers other ways to cross between writing and experiments. The logs are readable on the site again, with their existing draft statuses.
30 July 2026 — Who keeps the tests?¶
An earlier pair, revisited here on 25 September.
The Green Board tells of a maintenance system whose dashboard remains green as the plant deteriorates. Beside it, The Referee Boundary asks which parts of an evaluation a revising system can change. Both were added on 30 July; the log's benchmark figures carry a later correction in the text.
Read the story for the incident and the people who discover it. Follow the log if you want to inspect the relation to the experiment.
