Logs

Status: Working collection — exploratory journals and design notes.

These entries keep a thought in motion. Some sketch a protocol or a city; others follow a question through an encounter, a design choice, or something that has stopped making sense. They can remain unfinished.

The logs keep their own dates, scopes, and draft statuses. Applied architecture is one recurring interest. A new log can also record an observation, an unresolved connection, or a change of direction before there is an architecture to propose. Stories, essays, and experiments offer other ways to continue.

Writing a log

Give the entry a date, a short status, and enough context to recover the question. Link to neighbouring work when the connection helps. State the assumptions when proposing an architecture; distinguish an imagined case from an observation. A log need not promise a later paper or supply a result to justify its existence.

Editorial note, 2026-09-25: “Applied architecture journals” remains a description of much of this sequence. The collection now also welcomes wider exploratory journals; earlier entries keep their original statuses and scope.
